چکیده

Traditional artificial intelligence implemented in software is usually executed on accurate digital computers. Nevertheless, the nanoscale devices for implementation of neuromorphic computing may not be ideally identical, and performance reduced by nonuniform devices. In biological brains, information encoded a cluster neurons such that variability nerve cells does influence accuracy human cognition movement. Here, we introduce population encoding strategy demonstrate this can overcome problems caused Using magnetic memristor device based current-induced domain-wall motion as an example, show imperfect storage applied hardware network to perform principal component analysis (PCA), unsupervised classification comparable conventional PCA using synaptic weights. Our results pave way lower criteria uniformity

Domain-wall coercivity in ferromagnetic systems with nonuniform local magnetic field.

Domain-wall ~DW! coercive field, HCW , which characterizes pinning of DW’s in soft magnetic materials, decreases strongly with increasing value of gradient, G, of the effective local DW-position-restoring magnetic field. Particular shapes of the dependence, HCW(G), can be calculated from the mean energy dissipation of the DW moving over the particular profile of the DW pinning field, Hp . In th...

Metastable magnetic domain wall dynamics

The dynamics of metastable magnetic domain walls in straight ferromagnetic nanowires under spin waves, external magnetic fields and currentinduced spin-transfer torque are studied by means of micromagnetic simulations. It is found that in contrast to a stable wall, it is possible to displace a metastable domain wall in the absence of external excitation. In addition, independent of the domain w...

Domain wall motion driven by an oscillating magnetic field

The coherent unidirectional motion of magnetic domain walls (DWs) is a key technology used in memory and logic device applications, as demonstrated in magnetic strips by electric current flow as well as in films by oscillation of a tilted magnetic field. Here we introduce a coherent unidirectional motion of DWs in the strip, utilizing an oscillating field, which is described within a previous 1...

Resistive wall modes and nonuniform wall rotation

The resistive wall mode ~RWM! poses a threat to many plasma confinement devices. The continuous rotation of the wall relative to the plasma makes it appear perfectly conducting, because of the skin effect, but this is ineffective if the perturbation locks to the wall. This raises the question of whether a nonuniformly rotating wall is more effective. In this paper we discuss the effect of such ...
